Roblox OAuth Privacy Policy & Terms of Service
This page explains how the RoseTech Roblox OAuth flow handles linked identity data, what it is used for, and what users agree to when they connect Roblox and Discord accounts through supported RoseTech systems.
What RoseTech stores and why
The Roblox OAuth system exists to verify account ownership and keep identity-based permissions accurate across RoseTech-operated services. Data is only processed for verification, syncing, abuse prevention, auditing, and related support or recovery work.
- Roblox identity data such as Roblox user ID and username.
- Discord identity data such as Discord user ID and account display data.
- Link state, verification timestamps, and security or audit events needed to keep access accurate.
- Role, rank, or permission sync metadata required to keep supported RoseTech portals consistent.
- RoseTech does not sell linked identity data for advertising or profiling.
- Data may be exchanged with Roblox and Discord only when required to complete linking or synchronization.
- Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used, but no system can promise perfect risk elimination.
- Retention is limited to what is needed for verification, support, security, and abuse prevention.
Quick summary
- The link is used to keep Roblox and Discord identity-based access consistent.
- Deleting linked data can remove access to features that depend on verification.
- Requests for access, correction, or deletion require proof that you control the account.
Rules for using the Roblox OAuth flow
The OAuth flow may only be used with accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
Abusing verification, rate limits, or identity syncing may result in suspension or removal of access.
Some linked features depend on Roblox and Discord APIs, so timing and availability may vary.
Removing linked data can break verification, role syncing, and identity-based access in supported services.
Access, correction, and deletion
Contact RoseTech through the support route tied to the portal, game, or service where you linked your account. Include your Roblox username or user ID, your Discord user ID when possible, the surface you used, and the request type.
Deletion can remove
- Verification-linked portal access
- Role and rank synchronization
- Identity-gated game or community features
- Permission logic based on the account link
